Like a lot of people in this field, I’ve been fascinated with computers since I was first exposed to them as a kid. My first job in high school had me writing assembly-language drivers for a custom hardware solution. Of course I was hooked.
Most of my career has involved developing real-time and back-end solutions in Java, C#, C++ or, in the early days, C and assembler. Typically, the more technically challenging or exotic a problem is the more interesting I find it.
Oddly enough, I’m the black sheep in a family composed entirely of successful artists. Go figure…
